Support Worker – Community Based

£13.33–£13.53 per hour | £65 sleep-in | Full training provided

Are you caring, reliable, and looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference?
We’re looking for friendly Support Workers to support adults and children with disabilities in their own homes and out in the community across Staffordshire.

This is a role where you have the time to build relationships, offer meaningful support, and help people live full, independent lives.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Supporting individuals in their own homes and within the community
Helping with daily tasks such as personal care, medication, meals, and household routines
Providing emotional support, reassurance, and companionship
Supporting people to attend activities, appointments, and outings
Encouraging independence, choice, and confidence

No rushed visits – all support sessions are a minimum of 2 hours, so you can focus on quality care.

Flexible shifts – some evening and weekend working is required.
Sleep-ins may be required and are arranged in advance on a rota basis.

What You’ll Need

A full UK driving licence (essential)
Confidence driving in the community — you may drive a service user’s vehicle
Ability to make your own way to work, as some locations may not be on a bus route
Flexibility with working hours
A kind, patient, and dependable approach

No previous care experience needed — we provide full paid training and ongoing support.

£12.90–£13.10 per hour
£65 per sleep-in shift

You must be able to work some evenings and/or weekends
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as you may be required to support service users to access the community using your own car.
This role requires an existing right to work in the UK. We are unable to provide Skilled Worker sponsorship for this position
