We are seeking a Governance and Compliance Lead to drive conformance across the account, ensuring alignment with industry, regulatory and internal policy requirements, as well as wider company and contractual obligations.​

This role will play a key part in shaping the direction and strategic development of processes relating to Compliance, Risk and Governance (CRG), ensuring that the account operates within agreed frameworks and maintains a strong culture of compliance.

Job Description

We are looking for a confident, proactive individual who can work closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), KAD, Operations Leads, HSEQ and Administrative functions to support and deliver key account objectives.​

The role holder will act as a trusted advisor on risk and governance issues, promoting best practice and enabling the organisation to identify challenges early and respond effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the ownership, development and delivery of CRG&T, Audit, Risk and Governance strategies.

Maintain and manage all Risk and Compliance Registers.

Chair and lead the CRG workgroup, overseeing all accountabilities related to CRG activity.

Support strategic, tactical and operational objectives through effective CRG frameworks.

Mandate and control the use of ISS frameworks, policies and procedures across the account.

Drive continuous stakeholder alignment to ensure both account and wider ISS stakeholders remain focused on the customer promise.

Support the development and accuracy of data for the Account Management Dashboard to enable proactive operational oversight.

Advise Operations Leads on best practice for operational delivery.

Review compliance audit findings with Learning & Development, identifying trends and informing SLT of risks and behavioural issues.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Experience in a Compliance, Risk or Governance Management role.

Operations Management experience (Security and Cleaning environments).

Qualification in Risk Management or Compliance Management.

Experience working within a large organisation with multiple stakeholders.

Proficient user of MS Office / Office 365.

Resilient and able to recover quickly from setbacks.

Strong influencing skills and a natural leadership approach.

Excellent communicator with the ability to maintain wide-ranging relationships.

Decisive and action-oriented.
