The Opportunity:
The Dick Vet Equine Practice, (R(D)SVS) is seeking an experienced equine veterinary surgeon to join our friendly team, to cover a period of maternity leave. This is a part-time position (28 hours per week) and an exciting opportunity to take an integral role in our equine first opinion service, based at the Equine Hospital on the Easter Bush Campus, just outside Edinburgh. The post-holder will play a significant role in undergraduate teaching.

Your skills and attributes for success:
• Motivated and enthusiastic member of RCVS, or eligible to register.
• A veterinary graduate with postgraduate experience in first opinion equine practice.
• Full valid UK driving licence, as this role is primarily ambulatory.
• An ability to work alone but also to supervise and instruct students.
• The commitment to developing excellent working relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Right to work in the UK.
