Reporting to the Head of Capital Estates, you will lead the delivery and coordination of a portfolio of complex capital and estates programmes. The role will ensure programmes are well planned, effectively governed and delivered to time, cost and quality, aligned to Trust priorities and wider system requirements.
This will include programmes such as:
• major capital developments and refurbishment schemes
• estates backlog maintenance and compliance programmes
• service reconfiguration and decant projects linked to clinical and operational change
• estates efficiency, sustainability and infrastructure improvement initiatives
You will be responsible for end‑to‑end programme planning, delivery and performance oversight. Working within agreed and established governance frameworks, you will work closely with clinical, operational, finance and corporate colleagues to manage interdependencies, resolve issues and maintain momentum across multiple workstreams.
You will lead programmes and project staff within a matrix environment, ensuring resources are coordinated effectively, priorities are clear, and delivery remains focused on agreed outcomes.
This is a senior role requiring sound judgement and the confidence to work at pace in a complex environment, balancing competing priorities while maintaining assurance and control.
