Summary
-To foster a culture of active research and to contribute to the current evidence base, evaluating how technological approaches to learning can continuously improve patient care, though individual and team performance. -Alongside the Clinical Skills and Simulation Service Lead, identify the opportunities for collaborative work in the region to strengthen the simulation activity leading to effective workforce development plans. -To represent the trusts simulation service on regional, national and international forums, taking active role in marketing the UHB brand as a leader in care, clinical excellence and education. -To contribute to the development of a 24/7 educational offer from surgical simulation education. -Support the core surgical high fidelity simulation programmes run across the trust offering surgical specialist knowledge and experience to advise on the maintance and development of programmes. -Support the delivery of Core acute procedural skills for both our surgical & multidisciplinary trainees. -Support procedural upskilling work for the Extended Surgical Teams/PAs/ACPs across the trust
