Inspirational and Outstanding Teacher Required for Key Stage 2

The Headteacher and Governors are looking for an outstanding practitioner to join Holy Trinity’s committed KS2 team. This will be a full-time position initially working in Year 4; however, you must be able and willing to teach across the KS2 phase. We are looking for a class teacher who can lead, motivate and inspire pupils whilst maintaining effective provision and high standards of teaching and learning, pupil achievements and progress. An understanding of SEND and adaptive teaching is essential. An advocate or interest in Sport and/or Music is desirable and training for this can be provided to the successful candidate. Applications from ECT’s are welcome.

We are looking for someone who can support the school on residential visits, in this country and abroad and run extra-curricular clubs externally from the school day.

As a KS2 Teacher, the postholder would have:

  • A proven record of outstanding teaching and experience in Key Stage 2, demonstrating creativity, initiative and excellent organisation skills
  • The ability to further develop and enhance the high standards of teaching and learning
  • High expectations for the achievement of every child and member of the staff team
  • An understanding of SEND and adaptive teaching is essential
  • Excellent knowledge of assessment and pupil progress and the use of data to enhance pupil progress and maintain the highest possible standards
  • The ability to work co-operatively, flexibly and effectively
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
