Summary
Greener Ealing Ltd (GEL) provides high-quality Waste Collection, Street Cleansing, Grounds Maintenance, Parking services and other environmental services for our customers, the London Borough of Ealing, its residents and other service users.
Due to our continued success, a great opportunity has arisen for a Workshop HGV Technician.
Duties will include:
Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with vehicles, plant and machinery
Preparing a range of vehicles to MOT standard, ranging from 3.5t to 26t HGV/RCV including necessary repairs and maintenance.
Maintaining accurate records of repairs and maintenance
Ensuring workshop is kept to a high standard
To be successful, you must have the following:
Minimum NVQ level 4 or City and Guilds level 3, or equivalent.
Qualification as a MOT tester – up to and including Class 2/Category C
Current full UK Driving license or equivalent.
Experience of working in a workshop setting
Understanding of vehicle system diagrams and be able to write technical reports.
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
