Job Advert Job Role: Endoscopy Decontamination Technician Base Location: Denmark Hill (other KFM sites as required) Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £29,050 - £30,100 per annum + up to 12 % annual bonus Join KFM and Help Shape the Future of Healthcare KFM is looking for an Endoscopy Decontamination Technician to join our dedicated team. Youll play a vital part in ensuring our endoscopy equipment is meticulously cleaned, disinfected, and ready for clinical use. This Role Includes: Reprocessing flexible endoscopes to national standards Recording all activity in the track-and-trace system Operating specialised equipment safely and effectively Maintaining a safe, hygienic, and compliant environment Participating in collections/deliveries across KFM sites (including driving duties at the Vanguard Unit) What Were Looking For Essential: GCSEs (Grade C / Level 4) in Maths and English, or Functional Skills Level 2 Team player with strong attention to detail Ability to follow SOPs and maintain high standards under pressure Basic computer and typing skills Effective verbal and written communication Desirable: NVQ3 or equivalent in Decontamination Experience in a healthcare or decontamination setting Knowledge of infection control, COSHH, and health & safety procedures Ready to Apply? Competent in following Standard Operating Procedures and using keyboard, typing, and general computer systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills enable clear information sharing. Qualifications:Essential: GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C/Level 4) or Functional Skills Level 2 (or equivalent). Desirable: NVQ Level 3 in Decontamination (Technical Certificate) or equivalent knowledge and experience gained through decontamination training. Knowledge & Experience: Knowledge and experience in the decontamination of reusable medical devices. Knowledge of infection control, Health &Safety and COSHH Keywords:Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and well-organised with excellent attention to detail. Adaptable and flexible in approach, approachable, and able to build positive working relationships. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and effective time management, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
