KFM is looking for an Endoscopy Decontamination Technician to join our dedicated team. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring our
endoscopy equipment is meticulously cleaned, disinfected, and ready for clinical use.
This Role Includes:
* Reprocessing flexible endoscopes to national standards
* Recording all activity in the track-and-trace system
* Operating specialised equipment safely and effectively
* Maintaining a safe, hygienic, and compliant environment
* Participating in collections/deliveries across KFM sites (including driving duties at the Vanguard Unit)
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Essential:
* GCSEs (Grade C / Level 4) in Maths and English, or Functional Skills Level 2
* Team player with strong attention to detail
* Ability to follow SOPs and maintain high standards under pressure
* Basic computer and typing skills
* Effective verbal and written communication
Desirable:
* NVQ3 or equivalent in Decontamination
* Experience in a healthcare or decontamination setting
* Knowledge of infection control, COSHH, and health & safety procedures
