We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a welcoming and well-established three-form entry primary school in the London Borough of Waltham Forest, for an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working in Lower Key Stage 2, supporting pupils as they transition from KS1 and build strong foundations in their learning.
The role:
You will take responsibility for a Year 3 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across the curriculum. Working within a three-form entry setting, you will benefit from strong collaboration with your year group team, shared planning, and a supportive leadership structure.
The school is looking for someone who:
• Has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly Lower KS2
• Delivers engaging lessons in English, Maths, and the wider curriculum
• Maintains high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Uses assessment effectively to support pupil progress
• Works well as part of a team and contributes to the wider school community
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
