Traffic Engineer needed in Gloucester Paying £29.62 per hr ref 5294284
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver traffic engineering schemes from concept through to construction.
- Produce detailed designs, drawings and contract documentation in line with industry standards.
- Lead on engineering design and supervise colleagues in developing safe, innovative and cost‑effective transport solutions.
- Deliver improvements for road safety, walking, cycling and bus infrastructure.
- Apply relevant design standards and use innovation to enhance project quality and efficiency.
- Act as Site Supervisor or NEC4 Project Manager during construction phases as required.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including CDM Regulations 2015.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and partners to ensure project objectives are met.
