Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract until 31.03.2027 (with potential to be extended)
Location: Redcar and Cleveland HQ, Kirkleatham, Redcar

Applications are invited for the post of Disclosure & Barring Decision Maker, working within the Information Management Unit, based at Redcar and Cleveland HQ, Kirkleatham, Redcar.

This could be the role for you if you have a keen attention to detail and enjoy working within a small but busy team. You will be responsible for the completion of DBS processes which includes enhanced DBS checks. Your role will include researching and retrieval of information from relevant computer and manual record systems, preparation of documentation and complex decision making with regards to safeguarding vulnerable groups.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate a sound educational background, with the ability to record information accurately and concisely within IT systems. Applicants will need to be able to work methodically and prioritise work demands, whilst also possessing previous experience in decision making and be able to communicate in a confident manner.
