I am an 80‑year‑old man looking for 2-3 reliable, respectful, and punctual personal assistants to help me live independently at home. Punctuality is very important, as my catheter care, meals, and medications follow a set routine, and our home runs on a calm, organised daily schedule.

A family member works from home in another room and is available in an emergency, but will not be involved in daily care and should not be disturbed during working hours.

Morning visit (8am)
- Drain and clean night catheter bag
- Assist with dressing if needed
- Prepare simple microwave breakfast

Lunchtime visit (12pm)
- Assist with undressing/dressing for showers, or help wash my legs on non‑shower days
- Re‑adjust catheter
- Heat a ready meal and vegetables in the microwave

Additional small care‑related tasks
Any other small tasks related to my personal care routine, carried out occasionally as needed

Light domestic tasks:
- Dishwashing
- Cleaning my bedroom and upstairs bathroom (including the toilet)
- Vacuuming my bedroom and hallway
- Changing my bedding from time to time
- Experience with catheter care is essential. This role suits someone who values routine, works independently, and provides respectful, consistent support.

This is a rewarding role for the right person.

Duties include:
- Medication prompting/administering
- Personal grooming
- Other relevant duties as required
- Housekeeping
- Cooking
- Transportation
- Companionship
- Dressing / undressing

Candidate qualities:
- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
- Hygienic, tidy and well organised
- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Honest and cheerful
- Creative
- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
