Summary


We require a Principal Trainer to join our EPR training team to lead on Cadence, Grand Central and PAS applications. We welcome applications from candidates with other Epic certifications or those who have been credentialled and have experience with the above applications. The successful candidate may need to lead, support or cover any of the Epic clinical and non-clinical apps in use at the Trust.

As a Principal Trainer, you will work with the EPR Training & Support Lead, Configuration Managers and Application Analysts to develop and maintain the Epic training programme. You will support Credentialed Trainers in the delivery of training to new starters as part of their induction as well as ongoing training and support (Thrive) to all staff within the Trust.

You will lead the design, development and delivery of end-user training for a designated Epic application(s), ensuring alignment with clinical workflows and Trust SOPs. You will create high-quality training materials, including lesson plans, exercise booklets, tipsheets, videos, e-learnings and assessments. Training will be delivered through a blended model, including classroom, virtual, elearnings and 1:1 sessions across both Trust sites.

Training Environment :
• Manage the Epic training environment following workflow reviews and system upgrades, including build activities, testing, and ongoing maintenance.
• Oversee the migration of new workflows and build components into the training environment.
• Test new workflows and system upgrades within the training environment prior to implementing training related go live changes.
• Create new master patient records to support specific workflows.
• Maintain and update master patient information within the Mitosis spreadsheet.
• Maintain master patient records within the MST environment.
