Summary
The Information Governance and Data Systems Specialist (Digital) will: Support the development and implementation of information governance policies and procedures. Support Information Asset Owners with data flow mapping, data protection impact assessments, and information security risk assessments. Manage information requests and rights requests, ensuring compliance with legal time frames. Maintain governance documentation including registers and logs. Provide training and advice on IG best practices to staff and stakeholders. Investigate incidents and breaches, supporting managers as required. Lead IG audits, identify non-compliance, and support action plans. Prepare and present KPI data and audit reports for the Information Assurance Board. Act as the first point of contact for IG queries from internal and external stakeholders. Provide consultation to partner hospices on IG and digital systems. Support configuration and optimisation of digital systems for data quality, accuracy, and ease of use. Deputise for the Data Protection Officer and Data Systems Manager as needed.
