Our client, a reputable commercial vehicle specialist, is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join their team in Blaydon.
The Vehicle Technician will play a key part in delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services, supporting the company's commitment to excellent customer satisfaction. Duties as a Vehicle Technician:
- Perform maintenance, servicing, and repair work on vans, light commercial vehicles, and cars
- Diagnose vehicle issues using technical expertise
- Adhere to manufacturer and health & safety guidelines
- Ensure vehicles are returned to customers promptly and to standard
- Maintain accurate work records
- Deliver exceptional customer service and satisfaction
- Support team members with technical advice and assistance
Requirements:
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance or City and Guilds equivalent
- Full UK driving licence
- Own set of tools
- MOT licence desirable but not essential
- Ability to work to high standards while following safety procedures
- Strong team working skills with a positive attitude
- Motivated to develop knowledge and technical skills
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations
