Summary
To work closely within the Renal team, wards, units and clinics in line with departmental guidelines. Attending all relevant ward rounds, case conferences and audit meetings. Contributes to both internal and interdisciplinary working parties. To work closely within the Bariatric team, including surgeons, nurses, physicians, psychologists and bariatric physicians. To liaise with and advise on dietetic issues directly contributing to the care of patients to medical and nursing staff, both internally and externally with GPs, district nurses and community teams. To liaise with catering and diet bay staff to ensure appropriate therapeutic meal provision for patients. To take an active part in the training, supervision and assessment of student Dietitians including planning and delivery of seminars/tutorials/programmes. To play an active role in training healthcare professional e.g. medical, nursing and AHP
