Summary
As a nightshift Care Assistant you will be working as part of a focused and skilled team of fully supported staff who have our residents’ well-being at the core of all they do.
You will be responsible for providing the highest standards of person centred care to our residents whilst maintaining dignity, respect and well-being.
You will contribute to reviewing the care plans for each resident and assist with daily activities providing residents with both physical and emotional support and personal care as required. You may also be required to assist with supporting residents at appointments and activities outside the Home.
Previous experience for this role is not essential as you will receive on the job support and training.
Ideal candidate will be able to communicate and interact well with people, be comfortable working as part of a team and can empathise and understand the needs of older people.
SVQ2 qualification in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
Registration with SSSC is required on commencement of employment.
This post is subject to satisfactory references and a PVG check.
This position is for 33/44 hours per week and will include weekend working and may also require cover for annual leave and sickness.
