Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
- Diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicle faults as a Vehicle Technician
- Conducting routine servicing and vehicle inspections
- Completing diagnostics checks using the latest equipment
- Identifying wear and tear, faults, and other issues to ensure vehicle safety and reliability
- Providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations clearly
- Ensuring work is completed to DVSA standards and manufacturer protocols
- Maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency in all workshop duties
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a main dealer or reputable independent garage
- Full UK driving licence
- Own set of professional tools
- Good understanding of diagnostic systems and electronic vehicle systems
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
