As our Early Years Lead/Class Teacher for Reception, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Early Years Foundation Stage at Kingsthorne. You will have the opportunity to lead, innovate, and inspire, ensuring that our youngest children experience a joyful, purposeful start to their learning journey. Your leadership will help to create a seamless transition into Year 1 and set the tone for lifelong learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic phase leadership for the Early Years, guiding the transition into Year 1 and ensuring continuity and excellence across the phase.
• Lead the ongoing development of Reception and Nursery provision, fostering a stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
• Further enhance the EYFS curriculum, embedding best practice and creative approaches that enable children to reach their full potential.
• Work collaboratively with staff, families, and external partners to ensure our Early Years setting remains at the forefront of educational innovation.
• Champion the development of oracy across the school, fostering confident communicators.
