We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Lecturer to join a reputable college in the West Midlands on a part-time basis. This is a rewarding opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire learners pursuing qualifications in Early Years education and childcare.
Key Responsibilities-
Deliver high-quality teaching across Early Years courses (e.g., Level 1-3 Childcare, T Levels, or CACHE qualifications)

Plan engaging and interactive lessons aligned with curriculum and awarding body requirements

Support learners in developing practical knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and early years practice

Assess, mark, and provide constructive feedback on assignments and coursework

Monitor learner progress and implement targeted support where required

Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and achievement

Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes

Support learners in progressing to employment, apprenticeships, or higher education within the childcare sector

Relevant qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or a related field (Level 3 minimum; Degree preferred)

Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one

Experience teaching Early Years or Childcare in a Further Education or similar setting

Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and safeguarding practices

Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills

Ability to motivate and support learners from a range of backgrounds

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
