VACANCY: Full-Time KS2 Teacher
A great opportunity has arisen at Perran-ar-Worthal CP School for a teacher wishing to join a thriving, happy, successful and innovative school. Teaching vacancies do not come up very often at Perran-ar-Worthal School. With an experienced and highly skilled team, this post would suit a teacher relatively early in their career who may be ready to develop an area of the curriculum and make it their own. We are looking to invite applications from an outstanding practitioner who is enthusiastic, creative, kind and child-centred and would like to become part of a dedicated and caring staff who work closely with a very supportive village school community.

About the Post:
• Start date 1stSeptember 2026
• This is a full-time teaching position in a Yr3 class
• An interest or specialism in History and/or RE is desirable
• The successful candidate should have had experience teaching in KS2 and have a sound understanding of the KS2 curriculum and expectations

What the school offers its staff
Our school offers a caring and supportive environment for every member of staff to devleop and grow. We offer an innovative curriculum and delivery structure that enhances the skills of our teachers as well as the learning of our pupils.
We are set in a close supportive village community with a stable intake of pupils. We currently have 200 pupils on roll within our 7 single year class structure.
We have recently opened a new classroom built to an extremely high standard, sympathetic to the original school.
