In this influential role, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to leaders, using data, insight and expertise to guide decision-making and deliver proactive people solutions. You’ll also lead and develop a small team, ensuring a high-quality, responsive People service. If you’re commercially minded, people-focused and confident navigating complexity, this is your opportunity to make a real difference.
What we’re looking for
A credible and experienced HR professional who can build strong relationships, influence at all levels and act as a true partner to the business, offering both support and challenge to drive performance and positive change.
What you’ll bring
Proven ability to lead complex and high-risk employee relations cases, applying sound judgement and balancing risk with business outcomes
Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation, with the confidence to apply this in a pragmatic and solutions-focused way
Experience partnering with senior leaders, influencing decision-making and providing constructive challenge
Ability to use people data, insights and external benchmarking to drive informed decisions and continuous improvement
Experience leading and delivering strategic people initiatives aligned to business priorities
Strong organisational development capability, including supporting talent and succession planning
Experience designing and delivering impactful people-related training and development
Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills

Significant generalist HR experience, including managing complex employee relations and organisational change
Experience of employment tribunal processes (desirable)
Good MS Office and HR systems (HRIS) skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex people matters clearly and confidently to a range of audiences
A full driving licence and access to transport
