The successful candidates will work under the guidance of teaching and senior support staff to:Support individuals or small groups of pupils with differentiated learning activities.Build positive relationships and promote inclusion for all pupils.Encourage independence, resilience and positive behaviour.Provide feedback on pupils’ progress and support the monitoring of learning plans.Assist with the preparation of learning resources and general classroom duties.Support pupils’ social, emotional and physical needs, including personal care where required.Contribute to the wider life and ethos of our school.What We’re Looking ForEssential:Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)Experience of working with or supporting childrenStrong communication and teamwork skillsGood organisational skillsA positive, patient and proactive attitudeWillingness to undertake relevant training Desirable:Experience in a school settingAbility to use ICT effectively to support learningKnowledge of Learning through play and CFWWelsh language skills (any level)We Offer:A warm, supportive and inclusive school communityA committed and collaborative staff teamOpportunities for professional developmentA role where you can make a real difference in children’s livesPlease state within your application form if you wish to be considered for Post 1, Post 2 or both.
