Summary
For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification: Build and maintain effective therapeutic relationships with young people using ageappropriate communication to understand their interests, concerns and individual needs. Plan, deliver and continually develop a programme of 1:1 and smallgroup diversionary and supportive activities that reflect young peoples physical health, preferences and emotional needs. Support young people to understand their treatment pathway and advocate for their views to be heard within the multidisciplinary team, assisting colleagues to communicate effectively with them. Provide nonclinical support during clinical procedures, including preparation, reassurance and accompaniment, in line with professional boundaries. Work with the TYA MDT to identify individual and group wellbeing needs and provide access to ageappropriate healthpromotion information and resources.
