Summary
The role will include: Entering data into an electronic system and ensure that an up-to-date tracking system of all reported cases is established and maintained. Critically examining data for error or possible duplication. Cross-checking data received for verification and completeness, and match data with other sources. Acquiring and maintaining knowledge to access hospital patient administration systems. Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records of data received. This will include liaising with appropriate organisations and departments for missing reports/data and producing feedback. Employing good administrative routines to support data processing, including filing and scanning forms/records, and establishing data storage systems. Maintaining the confidentiality and security of all communications and data handled, adhering to the Registers policies and procedures for Information Governance. Attending training as required, including attendance at national study days and regional training sessions. The full job description can be found attached. As part of the selection process you will be required to complete a technical test. This is based on work you would be expected to complete in the role of Registration Officer.
