ROP:

£15.00

Personal Assistant required to support a man with Dementia who lives with his wife. He is very sociable but needs assistance to get out and about. He used to be a keen golfer but can no longer play.
Applicants must be flexible regarding hours of work. In future, hours may increase and you must also be willing to cover holidays / sickness for other members of staff.
Duties:
• Going out for a coffee
• Companionship
• General assistance with everyday things
• Tips out in the local community
• Daily showering and assistance with dressing

Experience / Qualifications Required:
Experience of supporting adults would be beneficial but is not a requirement for this post.
Moving and assisting training will be provided as the man uses a wheelchair on occasion while out and about.
Successful applicants will have to provide 2 references (one of which must be your current or most recent employer) and undergo a New PVG Disclosure at the employers cost.
