Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Band 6 Sexual Health Outreach Nurse, to join our Coventry and Warwickshire Sexual Health Service, across our 4 sites in Coventry, Leamington Spa, Nuneaton and Rugby. Within this role, you will provide and monitor clinical outreach services through effective and collaborative partnership working, ensuring that the sexual health needs of the Coventry and Warwickshire community are met. This will particularly focus on individuals at higher risk and those from hard-to-reach groups, including BAME communities, young people, LGBTQ+ individuals, substance misusers, sex workers, victims of domestic and/or sexual violence or exploitation, people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, learning difficulties and autism, individuals experiencing homelessness, and newly arrived or displaced populations such as asylum seekers and refugees.You will work closely with key stakeholders including MIND, Turnaround, CGL, The Haven, and other Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations to deliver accessible and inclusive services. The role will involve working both in clinic settings and in outreach environments, including visiting service users in the community to provide high-quality, person-centred care. This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week, worked across five days, with evening and occasional weekend work required. A full driving licence is essential to enable travel between clinic sites and community locations.
