It provides specialist support for individuals with mental health conditions, including Korsakoff’s syndrome and Alcohol-Related Brain Damage, promoting independence for up to 34 residents.

Role Overview
As Maintenance Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the maintenance, safety and presentation of the home, ensuring a high standard is maintained at all times for residents, visitors and colleagues. Your role is essential in creating a safe, comfortable and well maintained environment that supports quality care.
You will oversee all day to day maintenance operations, including planned maintenance, reactive repairs and compliance checks. This includes fire safety systems, alarms, water safety and general building maintenance, ensuring all regulatory requirements are consistently met.
Alongside hands on maintenance work such as basic electrical, plumbing and joinery tasks, you will manage maintenance schedules, monitor records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date. You will also take the lead on small projects and improvements within the home, ensuring minimal disruption to residents.
You will manage contractors on site, ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard, while maintaining strong cost awareness and control of materials and resources. Maintaining both internal areas and external grounds, you will ensure the home remains clean, safe and welcoming at all times.
This is a varied and responsible role requiring a proactive, organised and practical individual who can work independently, prioritise effectively and respond to the needs of a busy care environment. Participation in an on call rota is required.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities role, ideally with supervisory responsibility
- Strong practical skills across general maintenance including basic electrical and plumbing
- Good understanding of health and safety and compliance requirements
- Ability to manage workload, contractors and maintenance schedules effectively
- Reliable, organised and committed to maintaining high standards
