Summary
Contract: Fixed Term - 6 months
Salary: Band 2 £24,796 - £25,185 FTE (Pro-Rata for 25 hours £16,754 - £17,016) £12.85 P/H
25 hours per week
Work times TBD ( 5 hours per day between 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday)

About the Job:
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our busy team, at the Joint Equipment Loan Services (JELS) in Northumberland.
The main purpose of the role is to ensure the efficient and effective management and rehabilitation of equipment within the Joint Equipment Loan Service (JELS) in the community.
The main tasks are cleaning and refurbishing retuned pieces of equipment for re-distribution to our residents in Northumberland.
Job Duties:
- Cleaning and refurbishing of equipment to a high standard for re-use within the community
- Ensure adherence to Health & Safety and Infection Control policies.
- Support the efficient flow of stock, including placing new stock in the warehouse, assisting with internal deliveries, and timely van loading.
- Report any faults with equipment.
- General house keeping
- Plan and manage day-to-day workload efficiently.
- Participate in daily discussions with the Team Supervisor/line manager to prioritise emergency, urgent, and routine tasks.
- Input stock control data into computer systems.
Experience/Skills Needed:
- Physical capability for lifting, moving, and handling equipment.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work around and with sensitively with vulnerable individuals and maintain confidentiality.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and in varied conditions.
- Computer based stock control system.
- Use of IT and technology.
- Basic computer skills
