About the role
Source Supply is currently seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Rotherham. In this role, you will support children and young people with ASD, This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs. You will be working closely with class teachers and the SEN team to provide tailored support, helping pupils to engage with learning and develop key social and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with ASD and a calm, nurturing approach. This role would suit someone who is committed to making a positive difference in a supportive and inclusive school environment.
We are looking for an engaging, proactive, and adaptable individual with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young people.

Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
- Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
- A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
- Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
- Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
- Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
