Summary
The Best Connection are seeking an SMT operator in the Mansfield area!
Job Duties:
- Set and operate the SMT equipment to produce SMT products in line with the weekly production plans.
- Program the printer, oven and pick and place equipment in line with Production Engineering documentation.
- Kit jobs within the SMT stores area and highlight any materials issues.
- Investigate and resolve basic problems with the equipment when it deviates from normal operation. Escalate problems that cannot be resolved within a reasonable time to the Technical Manager.
- Carry out hand soldering including rework for conventional and SMT circuits.
- Set and operate the flow soldering equipment as required.
- Undertake inter-stage, final visual inspection and production line testing to ensure workmanship and quality standards are met.
- Conduct daily and weekly maintenance ensuring the serviceability of equipment.
- Identify and report unusual or repetitious failures to the Technical Manager. 10) Liaise with Operations, Engineering and Quality as required.
Working hours:
Monday - Thursday 7.45 to 4.30 (15 Minute paid break mid morning & 20 minute unpaid lunch break)
Friday 7.40 to 2.00 (15 minute paid break mid morning )
