We're looking for a caring, confident and motivated Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bristol.
This role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing across the classroom.
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide classroom support to pupils across a range of subjects and year groups
- Deliver 1:1 and small‑group interventions to help boost progress
- Support children with their communication, emotional regulation and engagement
- Help create a positive, inclusive and structured learning environment
- Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils
- Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour
- Contribute to observations, assessments and general pupil support
We are seeking individuals who have:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- SEN or SEMH experience is desirable
- Patience, empathy, resilience and a nurturing approach
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- The ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations
- A proactive, flexible and team‑focused mindset
- Reliability and a strong commitment to pupil development
