SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Pay: £95-£110 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-Time
Support pupils to succeed and thrive

You will play an important role in supporting pupils both academically and personally within a positive and nurturing school environment.
The Role
Working alongside teachers and SEN staff, you will provide targeted support to pupils with special educational needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
• Assisting with the planning and delivery of adapted learning activities
• Supporting pupils to stay engaged, focused, and confident in lessons
• Encouraging independence, social development, and self-confidence
• Monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to the teaching team
• Helping maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will:
• Hold a relevant qualification ( Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent)
• Have experience working with children or young people with SEN
• Understand how to support differentiated and inclusive learning
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
• Be organised, proactive, and adaptable
• Show patience, empathy, and a supportive approach
• Be committed to ongoing professional development
