Summary

Head of Pensions Rectifications Projects

Home Based

We are looking for a Head of Rectifications to be responsible for the teams that delivery of our GMP solutions to our UK based DB clients. Work includes, actuarial, reconciliation, equalisation, and rectification.

You will spearhead our service excellence driving our team towards innovative solutions and ensuring all client project work is delivered on time and to the highest standard.

You will have previous experience of leading a team of technical pensions professionals and you will have a technical understanding of the GMP space.

Key Accountabilities:

• Leading and line managing a team of Actuaries and Pension Technicians, providing clear strategic direction and support
• Provides actuarial and other pensions advice to clients on pensions technical, investment, administration and legislative issues
• Participate in the development of actuarial policy in relation to occupational pension scheme valuations, financial reporting and pensions legislative developments
• Participate in the development of processes to support the administration of schemes
• Provide peer review sign off and mentoring functions to other actuaries and staff
• Contribute to sales and sales presentations to generate revenue growth
• Managing operational budgets and accurate forecasting reporting to meet and align to business targets

What are we looking for:

Essential

• Experience of line managing a team of technical pensions SMEs
• GMP experience
• Experience of managing a team working on multiple client projects
• Strong commercial outlook with experience of budgeting and forecasting
• Client facing and able to build strong and collaborative relationships at Board/Trustee level
• Able to build strong and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders
• Effective and agile problem solver with the ability to be innovative and creative in developing propositions for existing and potential clients

Desirable

• Have managed a team in the actuarial space
• Have worked as an Actuary
