Summary

We’re building a modern, insight led digital experience for our students, applicants and staff and we’re looking for a Senior Content Designer to help us make it happen.

You’ll join a growing in house content and UX team with a clear purpose: to design services and journeys around what users actually need, not what we’ve always done.
This year brings a significant opportunity, we’re evolving how our CRM connects with web content, personalisation, and student journeys. You’ll play a key role in designing content patterns, testing new approaches, and ensuring our digital ecosystem works as a coherent whole.
What you’ll do
• Design, write and iterate web and app content that’s clear, purposeful and accessible.
• Shape end to end journeys using research, insights and data to guide your decisions.
• Collaborate with UX, marketing and product colleagues to build seamless experiences.
• Use style guides, content patterns and IA principles to bring consistency across platforms.
• Lead on user research and testing related to content and task completion.
• Use analytics (including SEO, GEO, GA4 and behavioural insights) to understand what’s working and where to improve.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to our growing content design community of practice.
• Help shape how CRM triggered journeys feel ensuring users get the right content at the right moment.
What you’ll bring
• Strong, user centred content design experience with the ability to make the complex simple.
• A deep understanding of content design principles, prototyping and iterative improvement.
• Experience applying research and data to real content decisions.
• The confidence to influence stakeholders while staying grounded in user needs.
• Ability to work at pace and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
• Curiosity, openness and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Experience with Sitecore, SalesForce, digital optimisation or CRM connected journeys is desirable, but not essential if you bring strong UX/content fundamentals and a willingness to learn.
Where you will be working

In this role, you’ll be based at our modern Frenchay Campus

You’ll spend most of your time on campus with the opportunity to work from home on the remaining days.
