Help create safe, welcoming workplaces where people can transform their lives.

At the Wise Group, we believe great environments help people do great work. As a leading UK social enterprise, we support people to build skills, secure employment and transform their lives.

As we expand our hub network across the UK, we are looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Property Lead to shape how health and safety, property, estates and facilities management work together across the organisation.

This is more than a compliance role. It’s an opportunity to influence culture, improve workplaces and ensure our environments are safe, inclusive and inspiring places to work.

Reporting to the People Director, you will lead our approach to:

Health and safety leadership and compliance

Property, estates and facilities management

Workplace safety and risk management

Multi-site hub and office environments

You will ensure Wise Group workplaces are safe, compliant, well-managed and welcoming spaces where colleagues and customers can thrive.

The role combines strategic leadership with operational oversight, influencing colleagues and leaders to take shared responsibility for safe and effective workplaces.

We are looking for a pragmatic and collaborative leader with strong health and safety expertise.

You will have:

Significant experience in health and safety leadership

Experience in property, estates or facilities management

Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and compliance

Experience managing risk, incident investigations and workplace safety

Ability to manage, monitor and improve H&S related processes and systems

NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent)

You may currently work in housing, hospitality, facilities management, healthcare, local government or other multi-site organisations.

Most importantly, you’ll know how to influence people, build relationships and create a positive safety culture.

At the Wise Group, our physical environments play a key role in supporting colleagues and the people we serve. This role will help ensure our workplaces are safe, inclusive and welcoming spaces where people can do their best work.

Join a purpose-driven organisation where your work will help support colleagues, communities and life-changing impact across the UK.

If you're an experienced Health & Safety Manager, Facilities Manager, Estates Manager or Property Lead looking to combine technical expertise with purpose, we’d love to hear from you.
