Summary
The Division of Newborn Services is a Neonatal Managed Clinical Service (MCS) operating across three sites. We are seeking the right individual to join our established Band 4 Nurse Associate team, working alongside the neonatal nursing workforce across our busy newborn service, which includes the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Oxford Road Campus, Wythenshawe Neonatal Unit, and North Manchester Neonatal Unit.
This is a highly successful and dynamic service with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional standards of compassionate clinical care, education, and research. You must be a team player with exemplary communication and interpersonal skills. We are looking for a caring, compassionate, skilled, and knowledgeable Nursing Associates who thrive in a busy and fast‑paced environment. You will be committed to supporting the development of both yourself and others, and motivated to work collaboratively to ensure the highest standards of care for infants and their families.
You will bring experience in delivering high‑quality, safe, and effective care, understanding the essential elements of care that are delegated to you. You will provide care within the Special Care areas of the neonatal unit and on the postnatal wards. With comprehensive education and training, you will also be supported to contribute to the safe delivery of neonatal care in the Intensive Care and High Dependency areas, working alongside the Registered Neonatal Nursing team.
