Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

The Derby High School is seeking to appoint a new SCHOOL BUSINESS MANAGER to join us in June 2026. This is a key position within our Senior Leadership Team and an exciting opportunity to play an important role in driving the school forward towards our ambition to for excellence.

The School Business Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the strategy and business function of the school, including financial resource management, human resources, facility and property management and health and safety of the school. They will lead and develop the Support Staff team and co-ordinate the day-to-day support that enables the school to operate effectively allowing members of the Senior Leadership Team to focus on Teaching and Learning.
