Summary
The primary role will be as a Consultant Psychiatrist providing senior medical leadership and clinical oversight to the multi professional Liaison Psychiatry Team (PLT) at Heartlands Hospital. You will work closely with the hospital clinicians and managers and the Mental Health Trust colleagues from the locality areas to offer an in hospital single point psychiatry service to the patients in the general acute hospital and liaise with the necessary existing pathway. You will be encouraged to innovate and help develop services to enhance mental health care amongst the patients with physical health problems to contribute to holistic health care
