A Day Concierge acts as the first point of contact, providing high-level security, reception services, and customer service for a residential property. Key duties include managing visitor access, accepting deliveries, responding to inquiries, and patrolling premises to ensure safety. They require excellent communication, professional presentation, and proactive problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Security & Access Control: Manning the front desk, monitoring CCTV, screening visitors/contractors, and conducting patrols.
Guest Service & Reception: Greeting residents, visitors, or clients, answering queries, and providing a warm, professional welcome.
Administrative Duties: Managing mail and parcel deliveries, updating electronic logs, and managing visitor access cards.
Resident/Visitor Assistance: Coordinating special requests, arranging transportation, managing booking for amenities, and handling deliveries.
Building Upkeep: Ensuring the reception and common areas are tidy and reporting maintenance issues.
Emergency Response: Acting as a fire warden, handling emergencies, and liaising with emergency services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills for interaction and report writing.
Customer Focus: Proactive, patient, and professional attitude toward resolving issues.
Technical Literacy: Proficient in using computers,, security software, and booking systems.
Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, security, or receptionist roles is highly desirable.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and handle packages.
