Summary
To provide support tocentre users at No.93Wellbeing Centre, a community hub which supports people with their mental health and wellbeing in north Manchester.
Informally engaging with and welcoming people who use the centre, supporting the daily drop-in and running informal activities with centre users. Signposting and referring Centre users to support, information and advice services. Working without constant supervision in a busy centre.
Please note - This role is not eligible for sponsorship unless you meet criteria by temporary exemption from current changes to immigration rules put in force on 22/07/2025. Separate provisions are applied to workers who have been sponsored and held continuously Skilled Worker visa since prior to 04/04/2024.
• To engage with Centre users, such as having conversations or participating in existing activities within the Café area or a community space.
• To signpost Centre users to health and wellbeing opportunities within No 93 and the wider community
• To ensure that Centre Users are well informed, supported with their individual health and well-being needs and involved in the centre.
• Meet with new Centre Users, this would involve discussing their goals and how they want to progress, which would be monitoredand recorded in the PARIS database.
• Some Centre Users turn up in crisis and need support with signposting or referring to different support organisations, such as local food projects and advice agencies.
• To signpost and facilitate Centre Users access to a range of support services.
• Provide 1:1 support to Centre Users and access to information, advice and activities that help maintain and improve Centre Users’ health and wellbeing, tailored to meet their individual needs.
• To facilitate the delivery of Centre Users’ support in a group setting where required.
• Update the PARIS database to record information on progress notes about service users attending the centre.
