Our client, a well-established organisation within the manufacturing industry, is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for a strong administrative professional with a proven background in data management and advanced Microsoft Excel usage.
You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring all administrative processes and data records are maintained accurately and efficiently. The position requires a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately cut and prepare labels for internal and external operational use.
Maintain, update, and input data across internal databases and systems with a high level of precision.
Utilise Microsoft Excel to an advanced level to manage, track, and validate data.
Process and manage expense claims in accordance with company policies.
Monitor stock and inventory levels, ensuring timely ordering of office and operational supplies.
Handle incoming telephone calls and email enquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
Support the wider team with general administrative duties as required.
Candidate Requirements
Extensive experience in administration and data entry (essential).
Previous experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment (highly desirable).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential (e.g. formulas, data analysis, spreadsheets, data accuracy checks).
Strong experience using internal systems and databases.
Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Ability to manage workload independently while also contributing effectively within a team.
Confident using a range of IT systems and office software.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
