Summary
Proactive Personnel are currently looking for several Production Operative for our client based in Rawtenstall, Lancashire.
Duties include:
-Carry out production and assembly tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
-Operate machinery, equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
-Complete assigned production tasks to meet daily production schedules and targets.
-Maintain accurate production records where required.
-Ensure products meet company quality standards and follow all quality system requirements.
-Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment in line with 6S standards.
-Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and immediately report hazards or unsafe practices.
-Work flexibly across different production areas when required.
-Participate in training, team meetings and continuous improvement activities.
-Maintain positive and professional working relationships with colleagues and supervisors.
Requirements:
-Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable.
-Experience using hand tools or small machinery is beneficial.
-GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics preferred.
-Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
-Comfortable heavy lifting manual
-Flexible and adaptable to changing production requirements.
-Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
-Comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 08:00am- 16:45pm and Friday 08:00am- 12:30pm.
Pay is £12.78 an hour.
