Job Title: Cleaning Operative(s)
Location: Accrington
Pay rate: £12.21 per hour Monday to Friday / national wage from April 2026 (Saturday rate TBC)
Pay term: Weekly, every Friday for the previous week’s hours
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Cleaning Operatives to join our team. These are an excellent opportunities for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean and safe environments. The roles involve providing high standards of cleanliness across designated areas, contributing to the overall presentation and hygiene of the workplace.
Due to the nature of the working environment, a high level of professionalism is required at all times, including maintaining a clean and presentable appearance.
Hours:
• 1 x Monday to Friday: 06:00am – 12:00pm
• 1 x Saturday: 09:00am – 12:00pm
Key responsibilities:
• Cleaning office spaces, including desks, meeting rooms, and reception areas
• Maintaining cleanliness in communal areas such as corridors, stairwells, and kitchens
• Cleaning and sanitising toilet and washroom facilities
• Replenishing consumables (toilet rolls, hand towels, soap, etc.)
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste in line with site procedures
• Ensuring all cleaning is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Reporting any maintenance or hygiene issues to the appropriate team
• Using cleaning materials and equipment efficiently and safely
Requirements:
• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential (training will be provided)
• Good attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Understanding of COSHH regulations (desirable but not essential)
