Post Title: Volunteer Coordinator
Fixed term for one year as a new role in our structure, with potential to become permanent.
Salary: £28,259.28 - £30,608.88
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, this will predominantly be Monday – Friday but there may be the requirement to work occasional evenings and weekends to support events and openings.

The Green Estate CIC is an award-winning social enterprise which aims to grow green and resilient urban places for people and nature to thrive and become a national urban resilience demonstrator by 2030.
We have recently launched a three year ‘Roots to Resilience’ growth plan which includes growing our volunteer offer so we can have a greater positive impact on our place, local communities and influence policy and practice across the UK.
The Volunteer Coordinator will support the delivery of our Plan by recruiting, supporting, and developing a diverse and engaged volunteer community that our environmental, social, and community-focused goals.
The Volunteer Coordinator will grow our volunteer offer working across our organisation and with partners to develop, deliver and monitor our volunteer growth strategy.
The role is responsible for creating a positive and inclusive volunteer experience, ensuring volunteers feel valued, motivated, and equipped to participate in activities that enhance green spaces, promote sustainability, and strengthen local communities.
This role will appeal to people with one or more of the following experiences:
• Volunteer management including policies, recruitment, and impact monitoring
• Working with people from diverse and disadvantaged communities
• Working with more vulnerable adults, people with additional needs and children and young people
• Asset based community development, civic participatory approaches
• Building collaborative partnerships across organisations and with external partners
• Corporate volunteering, fundraising and business development
