Summary
We're currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants for long term roles within a specialist SEN school in Rugby. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive environment where you can build strong, consistent relationships with learners and become a valued part of the school community.
About the role
- Provide ongoing 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils with a range of additional needs
- Support with emotional regulation, behaviour management and engagement in learning
- Assist with communication, daily routines and structured classroom activities
- Be comfortable providing personal care where required
- Work closely with teaching staff to deliver consistent, tailored support
- Become a stable, trusted presence for learners who benefit from routine and continuity
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience supporting young people with SEN (SEMH, ASD, ADHD, learning needs etc.)
- A calm, patient and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Someone reliable, committed and confident working in a long‑term capacity
- A genuine passion for helping young people progress academically, socially and emotionally
