Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher with the delivery of engaging EYFS activities
- Work with small groups and on a one-to-one basis to support learning and development
- Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
- Help with observations and contribute to pupil progress tracking
- Encourage positive behaviour and support children's social and emotional development
- Support children with additional needs where required
Requirements
- Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Early Years (essential)
- Experience working with children in an EYFS or nursery setting (preferred)
- Basic understanding of the EYFS framework
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A patient, nurturing, and positive attitude
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
