Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality EYFS learning activities
- Assist in planning and implementing creative and stimulating lessons in line with the EYFS framework
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to observations and assessments
- Support children with additional needs where required
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Early Years (essential)
- Experience working within an EYFS setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
