Hyndburn is an attractive area set in the heart of Pennine Lancashire, within easy reach of Manchester, the Lakes and the Coast. The Borough, comprised of Accrington and the surrounding Market Towns, is currently experiencing unprecedented levels of regeneration which is delivering real and substantial improvements to the quality of life in the area.
Joining our busy team, your main responsibilities will be to assist in the day-to-day operation and set up of the Markets, ensuring there is a clean, safe and well-maintained environment.
You should have experience of working in an outside environment, manual handling and experience of manual and mechanical cleaning duties.
You should be able to work with little supervision and on your own initiative, be able to fully participate as part of a team and generate new ideas to improve the service.
You will need to be a good communicator with the ability to apply practical solutions. A flexible approach to working hours is essential.

The shift pattern for this role will be Monday 9am – 3pm & Wednesday 9am – 3pm, however, there will be an expectation for the post holder to cover holiday/sickness for other colleagues, which would include other days of the week.
